Chobe National Park
As the third largest national park in Botswana, Chobe National Park spans 11,700 square kilometers and comprises four distinct ecosystems: the Chobe Riverfront, Savuti, Linyanti, and Nogatsaa Pans.
This diversity makes Chobe a vibrant tapestry of landscapes, hosting one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.
Visitors can expect to encounter large herds of elephants, a myriad of bird species, and an impressive array of other wildlife.
The Largest Elephant Population
Okavango Delta
The lifeline of the Okavango Delta, the Okavango Panhandle, is where the deep, fast-flowing waters from Angola fill this incredible wetland.
Not formally protected yet inherently pristine, the Panhandle features expansive wetlands and dense papyrus lagoons, making it a paradise for fishing enthusiasts, especially during the spectacular barbel run in September to October.
The area is also perfect for mokoro trips and exploring the Tsodilo Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its ancient rock paintings.

The Largest Elephant Population
Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Covering a vast area of Botswana, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve offers a glimpse into a world of unique flora and fascinating geological features like the fossilized rivers of Deception Valley and Passarge Valley.
This reserve transforms with the rains from November to April, when the desert ecosystem bursts into life, attracting a plethora of game and following predators - a truly magical time for wildlife viewing.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
traddling the borders of Botswana and South Africa, the immense Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park covers 37,000 square kilometers of unspoiled wilderness.
This park is a model of conservation cooperation between two countries and offers unfenced borders to facilitate wildlife migration, crucial for the survival of species in this harsh desert environment.

The Largest Elephant Population
Makgadikgadi Pans
In the heart of the Kalahari Desert lie the vast Makgadikgadi Pans - an expanse of salt pans that are among the largest in the world.
This stunning landscape offers a dramatic contrast to the typical bushveld associated with Botswana and is famed for the awe-inspiring zebra migration.
The region is not only a haven for adventurers, with activities ranging from quad biking to cultural tours, but also a sanctuary for a wide array of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, and meerkats.

Tuli Block
Located in southeastern Botswana, the Tuli Block is steeped in history, from ancient San Bushmen to dramatic geological formations in the Limpopo Valley.
This area is renowned for its rich archaeological sites including dinosaur footprints and prehistoric rock paintings, making it a captivating destination for those interested in both natural and human histories.
